Notes on entering the bank account holder name

For Japanese accounts, when registering a new bank account for a recipient, keep the following points in mind:

  • Abbreviations for corporate names can be used.
  • Usually, there is a statement on the first page of a cash card or bank account passbook.
  • Only the following characters can be used:

Discrepancies between the account holder name registered with Omise and the respective bank will result in delays in processing as funds will need to be refunded. Please double check when registering.
