Installation

Either install via WordPress Plugin Directory (recommended) or download the plugin and install it manually.

Install our WooCommerce plugin via the WordPress Plugin Directory by following these steps:

  1. From the left sidebar at your WordPress Admin page, under the Plugins section, click Add New.
  2. At the Add Plugins page, search for our WooCommerce plugin using the keyword opn.
  3. Click Install Now to download and install our WooCommerce plugin into your WordPress website. Directory install Omise WooCommerce
  4. After the plugin has been downloaded and installed. the Install Now button will change to Activate. Click Activate. Directory activate Omise WooCommerce

Manual

  1. Download and extract the latest release.
  2. Copy the extracted folder to your WordPress plugins folder and rename it Opn Manual rename
  3. Once done, Opn Payment Gateway plugin will be shown on the Installed Plugins page. Click Activate to activate the plugin. Manual activate

Note: Ensure that you have permission to write to the WooCommerce folder on your server

Configuration

Connect your Opn account and enable your preferred payment methods. This enables your customers to make payments on your store through Opn.

In your WordPress admin interface:

  1. Go to Opn > Settings.
  2. Set Public key for test and Secret key for test and enable Test mode to test out the integration before going live. Test keys are found on the dashboard in Test Mode.
  3. Once your live account is activated, set Public key for live and Secret key for live and uncheck Test mode. Live keys are found on the dashboard in Live Mode.
  4. Click Save Settings.

Enabling payment methods

Your available payment methods depend on the country in which your account is registered. So, to see them, you must have already connected your account.

  1. On the Opn Settings page, under Payment Methods, you will find the available payment methods shown on the list.
  2. Click config to configure and enable the payment method(s) you would like to enable. Configuration options depend on the payment method. For example, here is the credit and debit card configuration page. omise-woocommerce-creditcard-setting-page
  3. At the configuration page, check the Enable/Disable field.
  4. Click Save changes.

Enabling 3DS

If you would like to process 3DS (also known as 3-D Secure) charges, please contact support to enable 3DS on your account. This plugin automatically supports processing both 3DS and non-3DS charges.

Enabling the secure form for payments

Important: Any customizations that you made to the earlier card payment form are not retained when using the new secure form. You must redo the customizations for the secure form.
  1. Go to WooCommerce Settings - Payment Methods.
  2. Click config for Credit / Debit card.
  3. In the configuration screen, scroll down to Advanced Settings.
  4. Set Secure form to Yes.
  5. Optionally, select the theme (either light or dark) for the payment form. By default, the theme is set to Dark.

To customize the form, click the link as highlighted.

Then customize the form as desired.

Click Preview to preview the form.

Click Save settings to save the customized form.

  1. Click Save Changes.
Clear your browser's cache before using the new form.

Once set to Yes, the secure form is shown to customers who opt to pay using card payments.

Note that in the near future, the secure form will be the default. Therefore, we encourage all merchants to use the secure form and provide feedback.
